Andrew Lam:

Andrew Lam co-found the Texas Systems Group (formerly Ladotek) in 2002.  He has over 13 years of proven technical experience and an outstanding record of customer service. 

Lam started his career at SMTC performing circuit board testing.  He worked up to the position of Field Service Technician deploying and supporting UPS shipping systems for large customers.  Lam took an opportunity at Dell to provide Customer Service Technical Support for desktop computers.  In 1997, Lam became a Technical Consultant at Sprint Paranet providing expertise in installation and management of Windows desktop and server systems. 

In 1999, Lam was recruited at the initial funding stage by QuickArrow Inc., to be the Information Technology Manager. There he hired staff to build and provide 24/7 support to the company’s corporate information systems infrastructure. 

In 2002, Lam co-founded Texas Systems Group, Inc. and took on the position of CFO where he also leads a team of customer focus technical consultants that provide information technology support to small/medium businesses in Central Texas.  Lam obtained his A.S in Electronic Engineering at ITT and has attended the University of Houston.  He currently holds a Department of Defense Top Secret clearance.

 

David Doran:

David Doran helped co-found the Texas Systems Group (formerly Ladotek) in 2002.  He has over 20 years of proven leadership experience in systems integration and technical operations management. 

Doran started his career as a Lieutenant in the US Air Force where he was a software engineer developing classified 3-Dimentional visualization systems.  He also served in the first Gulf War (Desert Storm), providing communication and computer support to the RC-135 (Rivet Joint) aircraft.  Doran made Captain while at the Headquarters European Command in Stuttgart, Germany where he oversaw around the clock support for the World Wide Military Command and Control System.  In 1993, he was recognized for achieving the highest system availability out of 16 world wide locations including the Pentagon.

After four years in Germany, Doran then was sent to the 412th Flight Test Squadron at Edwards AFB, CA where he performed advanced flight testing of airborne communication and computer systems on a C-135.

Doran began his civilian career in 1997 as a Technical Consultant with Sprint Paranet During which time he also served in the Air Force Reserves at the Air Force Computer Emergency Responce Team, Information Warfare Center.  After a year at Sprint Paranet, he then took over management of the Information Technology department for Deja.com (formerly DejaNews).  In 1999, Doran was recruited at the initial funding stage by QuickArrow Inc., to be the Directory of Information Technology. At QuickArrow, he hired staff to build and provide 24/7 support to the company’s application hosting infrastructure.  In 2002, he co-founded Texas Systems Group, Inc. and took on the position of CEO to lead a customer focus group of technical consultants that provide information technology support to small/medium businesses in Central Texas. 

Doran has a B.S in Computer Science from the University of Texas at San Antonio and an M.S. in Management of Information Systems from Bowie State (University of Maryland Systems).  He currently holds a Department of Defense Top Secret (TS) clearance and has held Special Compartmental Investigation (TS/SCI) security clearances while in the Air Force.
